Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a Global 3rd Party Logistics provider on the search for a Senior Sales Manager specialized in Air and Ocean Freight Forwarding across Western Canada.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sr. Sales Manager to lead & expand our clients International Freight sales team across Western Canada. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and building strong client relationships. This position requires a deep understanding of the freight forwarding industry and a proven track record in both sales & leadership.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives within the North American Freight Forwarding market.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team targets.
- Player-coach role, with both sales & leadership responsibilities.
- Identify and target potential clients, nurturing leads, and converting them into long-term partnerships.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify growth opportunities and potential threats.
- Implement robust sales tracking and reporting systems to monitor sales performance, pipeline management, and forecasting.
Candidate Requirements:
- 10+ years Sales experience in the Air & Ocean Freight Forwarding market
- 3PL sales leadership experience
- Current network of clients and candidates across the market
- Strong track record of revenue & account growth
