Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a global, tier 1 3PL on the search for Sr Business Development Director (Individual Contributor) specializing in the Healthcare/Pharma vertical across global Freight Forwarding (Air & Ocean)
Location: Midwest or Northeast, USA
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Develop & expand the companies presence across Healthcare, Pharma & Life Science verticals within the US market & beyond.
- Proactively seek, and onboard business with new and existing customers across the Healthcare vertical
- Coordinate new sales opportunities as an individual contributor, focused on hunting new business & growing existing
- Travel to key customer locations to maintain and develop high-level relationships across the market
- Work closely with customers to identify growth opportunities & address concerns
To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:
- 5 – 10+ years sales experience focusing on Global Air & Ocean Freight Forwarding
- Healthcare, Pharma or similar vertical specialization & understanding
- Proven track record of success within individual Sales roles
- Specific vertical experience or export business preferred
- Hungry, ambitious & driven mentality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
There is a base salary of $100,000-$150,000+ on offer for this position with additional benefits & commission opportunity.
