Vice President of Business Development

  • Salary Range $160K
  • Location Remote - USA

Position Overview

The VP of Business Development will lead enterprise growth strategy across insurers, self-insured employers, health systems, and strategic ecosystem partners. This executive will drive revenue expansion, partnership structuring, and commercialization.

Core Responsibilities

1. Enterprise Revenue Growth

Develop and execute enterprise sales strategy targeting:

  • Self-insured employers
  • Health plans
  • Benefits consultants
  • Provider networks

Structure PMPM contracts and value-based pilot agreements

2. Strategic Partnerships

Build relationships with:

  • Insurers and TPAs
  • Employer coalitions
  • Benefits brokers
  • Digital health ecosystem partners

3. Leadership & Team Development

Build and lead enterprise sales organization. Develop repeatable pipeline, forecasting, and enterprise deal cycles. Collaborate with product, compliance, and engineering teams

Required Experience

10+ years in healthcare enterprise sales or business development

Experience selling to:

  • Health insurers
  • Self-insured employers
  • Population health or analytics buyers
  • Proven ability to close $500K–$5M+ enterprise contracts
  • Deep understanding of:Healthcare data ecosystems
  • Interoperability (FHIR, claims data)Value-based care models
  • PMPM pricing structures
