Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a global 3PL on the search for a US based, Vice President of Business Development (Individual Contributor) specializing in global Freight Forwarding (Air & Ocean)
Our client had $3B in revenue globally in 2022, with a growing presence in the US currently spanning 13 locations countrywide.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Proactively seek, and onboard business with new and existing customers, with a focus on Air & Ocean Freight Forwarding
- Coordinate new sales opportunities as an individual contributor, focused on hunting new business & growing existing
- Travel to key customer locations to maintain and develop high-level relationships across the market
- Work closely with customers to identify growth opportunities & address concerns
- Report directly to the SVP of Sales
To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:
- 7 – 10+ years industry sales experience focusing on Global Air & Ocean Freight Forwarding
- Proven track record of success within individual Sales roles, covering 3x seat cost
- Specific vertical experience or export business preferred
- Hungry, ambitious & driven mentality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
There is a base salary of $150k-$200k on offer for this position with additional benefits & bonus opportunity.
