Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a rapidly growing Domestic 3PL on the search for a Vice President of Business Development (Individual Contributor) Specializing in non-asset based OTR services
Our client has a great presence across the US and is open to candidates located anywhere within the country, however has a particular need for a candidate within the SoCal market.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Proactively seek, and onboard business with new and existing customers, with a focus on OTR Brokerage Services (Dry Van, Flatbed & LTL) across the US
- Coordinate new sales opportunities as an individual contributor, focused on hunting new business
- Design & implement sales strategy for the region
- Travel to key customer locations to maintain and develop high-level relationships across the market
- Work closely with customers to identify growth opportunities & address concerns
- Report directly to the SVP of Business Development
To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:
- 5 – 10+ years sales experience focusing on non-asset based OTR services / Brokerage
- Proven track record of success within individual Sales roles
- Hungry, ambitious & driven mentality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
