On behalf of our client; a multi-billion revenue MNC, Mackenzie Stuart is currently searching for experienced Head’s of Accounting for an exciting and challenging role with a global well-established MNC.

The role reports directly to the Group CFO and is a highly strategic position, integral to the future organisation of the company. Thus, candidates must be highly experienced with excellent accounting knowledge, a track record of exceptional performance and experience in internationally focused companies.

Key responsibilities include:
*Leading the global accounting department throughout EMEA, the Americas and Asia
*Drive transformation of the global accounting network including the offshoring of
*functions and FTE’s, consolidation of functions, process optimisation, office
relocations
*and system overhauls
*Liaising with senior management and partnering with the respective regional heads
to
*optimise transparency and improve commercial growth & performance.
*Team development and management

The Successful Applicant:
*Minimum 15 years of finance/accounting experience
*Experience in large multinational companies within low margin industry
*Big 4 training
*Chartered Accountant
*Masters or MBA
*Excellent knowledge of both IFRS and German GAAP
*Proven experience of driving change, leading transformations or project focused
roles
*Fluent German and English

About Our Client

Our client is a growing real estate and hotel management company. The passion and ambition of their people are a critical component to their success.

The Corporate Controller based in Buffalo will lead the accounting team of 7 and will be responsible for the timely and accurate financial reporting for internal and external users of the various companies. They will ensure the integrity of accounting information and safeguard company assets by developing and implementing procedures, controls, and reporting systems. They will also manage the day to day operations of the accounting staff and ensures that all departmental responsibilities are executed in a timely and effective manner.

Preferred Skills and Characteristics:
*Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting as a minimum. Preferably CPA or 3 years’ experience with a public accounting firm.
*Seven to ten years of experience or an equivalent of experience and/or training
*Computer Skills: Working knowledge of ERP Accounting software, Microsoft Office, and internet software. Expert level of Microsoft Excel required.
*Experience in the Hospitality and/or Healthcare industry is essential.
*Experience in training co-workers on software, cost report accounting, construction accounting, and acquisition due diligence is preferable.
